On Tuesday, January 17th 2017, Global Grind contributor, Blogxilla hosted one of his highly anticipated movie screenings. This time around the featured presentation was the horror movie, "SPLIT".
The film is based on a man with 23 personalities who kidnaps three girls. In order to escape, his captives must convince one of the personalities within him to set them free, before the arrival of the 24th and final personality, the "beast".
Xilla's co host for the evening was Angela Simmons. Musicians, Smoke DZA & Travie McCoy were kNoticed in the crowd of movie-goers.
As for rating this flick, our MissLissaKnows.com contributor, Rina S. gives SPLIT 4 out of 5 stars, because she believes the ending could've been way better.

Mike Classic is an emerging artist from Queens, NY. He and I have been acquainted for years and it has been wonderful to watch his growth as I myself continue to progress. Below you can get familiar with track, "Lowkey".
Although Classic is frequently compared to J. Cole, the comparison has to stop at them both being light-skinned, attractive rappers. Mike is creating his own signature sound and has even gained mainstream attention. Q: Can a man really be faithful to one woman?
A: Sure can. I know hundreds of dudes who aren’t. But, look at the bright side: I know about three who are. Do you know what matters most? Not if he’s faithful, but the way he treats you. Don’t mistake a man's love for faithfulness. There’s loyalty and there’s faithfulness. Now if he’s a mean, nasty, grumpy, cheater, then you have cause for concern. Because he ain’t loyal! However, if he’s a great guy that keeps you happy, puts you and the family first, protects himself when he’s cheating and does his best for you not to find out, then don’t stress yourself about it. Why? Because he respects you if he tries to hide it from you. Therefore he’s really putting you first. He’s hiding his needs to keep you from hurting. THAT is a man you gotta respect.
Q: My husband is always hinting to a threesome. He's even mentioned a few ladies he would like to include in our bedroom action. I'm not really into it, but I would do it for him. We've been married for 3 years. Should I make my husband's fantasy come true? Or will that taint the relationship?

I’m going give you the same advice I’d give my daughter: DON’T WAIT! Why would you put your life on hold for someone you’re not invested in like that? You wanna be squeezing ounces of cocaine in ya rectum, using Ketchup as a lubricant? I doubt it! Had y’all been married (don’t be surprised if he proposes), then I’d say get ya Papoose on. Otherwise, live ya life, find some self-esteem and tell ol’ boy its over.

This has been a long time coming. I'm finally relaunching my site, and on my terms.
Initially misslissaknows.com started as a blog, not a "gossip blog"! JUST A BLOG. I would post content that was interesting to me. Movie reviews, motivational excerpts, meal recipes, highlighting indie artists, etc. Yes, I also included entertainment news but wasn't limited to that. The plan was to be this "information station" of some sort.
Little by little I began being acknowledged for my gossip columns, and I loved it. Maybe even a little too much. Things really took a turn when I began contributing to TMZ Live. People would approach me with compliments like, "I check your page EVERYDAY" or "I love to go to you for all the tea". I was ignoring my other interests because I was thriving off breaking stories and revealing the alleged Hollywood tales and there was nothing that could stop me... So, I thought.
July 13th, 2015 is a day I will never forget. My perception changed forever as I stared into the lifeless eyes of Sandra Bland. It hurt so bad. I cried for days as I mourned the loss of a woman I had never met, yet felt so close to. Feeling tired of directly contributing to the propaganda that distracts people from the issues that matter, I stopped. Stopped covering "hot topics". Stopped caring about the nonsense. Stopped encouraging the bullsh*t.
There's nothing wrong with covering gossip, I just believe balance is necessary. People need to know how to separate reality from reality tv.
Welcome to the kNEW and improved site. I've worked diligently make this a better representation of me and the brand I want to build. As I constantly evolve, so will my website. I still intend to provide topics of discussion. However, those stories will not set precedent over stories that will inspire and empower readers.
